Camlock Part DP

Camlock Part DP (also called Type DP Camlock Dust Plug) is a protective fitting designed to seal the opening of female camlock couplers when they are not in use.

Configuration

• One end: Male cam adapter (grooved male end)
• Other end: Closed-end dust plug (no flow passage)

The male adapter inserts into Type B, Type C, and Type D female camlock couplers of the same size, and the coupler’s cam arms lock onto the plug.

Purpose

• Protects female camlock couplers from dust, dirt, moisture, and debris
• Helps prevent contamination of pipelines and hose assemblies
• Protects the coupling during storage and transport

Note: A Type DP dust plug is intended for protection only. It is not designed to serve as a pressure-tight closure for an operating system.
