Camlock Part DC

Camlock Part DC (also called Type DC Camlock Dust Cap) is a protective camlock fitting designed to cover and protect male camlock adapters when they are not in use.

Configuration

One end: Female cam coupler with locking arms
Other end: Closed-end dust cap (no flow passage)

The locking arms allow the dust cap to attach securely to Type A, Type E, and Type F male camlock adapters of the same size.

Purpose

Protects the coupling from dust, dirt, moisture, and debris
Helps prevent contamination of fluid transfer systems
Protects the cam adapter from physical damage during storage or transport

Note: A Type DC dust cap is intended for protection only. It is not designed to be used as a pressure-tight end cap while a system is operating.
